Authenticity
We take authenticity seriously.  Every item accepted for auction is reviewed to the best of our abilities, for authenticity and originality.  No representations or warranties of authenticity can be implied from our review.

Preview Period
All items offered for auction are posted on our website prior to the beginning of each auction cycle.  Detailed photography ensures that pieces are continuously evaluated by potential bidders before the auction begins. If you have a question please contact us and we will provide additional information per your request.  We encourage you to discuss items with your collecting colleagues, both on and offline.

Inspection Period
Upon physical receipt of your item or items, you have five (5) business days to inspect the goods for damage.  If damaged, you must notify us in writing within five (5) business days of receipt. If you wish to return an item, you must notify us in writing within five (5) business days with reason for return. Once authorization of return is received the item can be returned to us, fully insured, for a refund, less shipping costs.

Personal Privacy
Your personal privacy is our highest priority.  All registration details are held privately and securely, and never shared, rented or sold to anyone. Your bids/consignments and personal information remain confidential and will not be used by us for marketing purposes. It may be used where a successful bidder claims a defect in title.  In this event, we will provide the consignor thirty (30) days to resolve the claimed defect in title before we disclose his/her identity to the successful bidder. You will not be contacted by any member of Empire Military Auctions Co. for any reason other than to conduct current business. Although we do have a newsletter, you may opt not to receive it.

Credit Cards
Registration is free.  All bidders and consigners must be registered electronically to consign or bid. We require a credit card, with a matching billing address, to verify your identity.  This reduces the number of fraudulent applicants to our membership. We will protect your data, and will not charge your card without your permission. You are encouraged to read the Conditions of Sale in it’s entirety before placing a bid.

Buyer Fees
A buyer’s premium is a charge levied by the auction company and paid by all successful bidders.  The premium is calculated as a percentage of the final bid price and is 15%. All lots are subject to local, state and international taxes, shipping, handling and insurance will be determined by weight, value and destination and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Seller Fees
Our seller’s premium for services rendered is 15%. This premium covers all costs associated with describing, photographing, listing, and marketing. Since we are already one of the most affordable auction companies on the market, discounts and preferred rates are not offered.

Consignments
Reproductions, articles in poor condition, and other items deemed to be in poor taste will not be accepted for consignment.  Empire Military Auctions Co. will be the sole judge of whether an item is accepted for auction.  Consigners are responsible for all delivery costs associated with sending material to us.  Once received, all items are insured by us, until after completion of the auction.  Title to your property does not change until the auction is complete. Any unsold items will be returned at the consignor’s expense, unless other arrangements are made.  For more information, please see our frequently asked questions, located on our “FAQ” tab.
