DESCRIPTION
Army NCO Artillery Visor by Erel. This example is officer quality throughout. The body of the cap is a fine quality wool though slightly mis-shapen with a few minor moth nips on the underside of the main body. The interior is a mint green exhibiting moderate staining due to normal wear. The visor is in good condition showing some wear to it's under side finish from normal wear. The sweat diamond is intact but the printing under has faded. The sweat band is complete and exhibits matching wear but no damage. It is marked with the Erel patent in silver . This hat has later war insignia with a bit of a dull finish. It has the proper rondel. The eagle is a three prong but only two have been used to attach to the body if the visor. This may indicate the eagle has been replaced. Overall, a nice visor showing actual wear.
